I ordered extra ice packs for my Break Free Candy order, since it's summertime and the heat is high. I was skeptical about the ice packs, but for the p[rice, I thought it was worth trying to add a few just in case they would work. But when the thermometer gets into the 90's, nothing can overcome the heat. Fortunately, the candy bars were in good shape, not badly melted - just a little soft. I put them in my refrigerator as soon as the box arrived, and they were fine. I ate one bar, put some in the freezer for another day, and left the rest in the cool refrigerator. Wish I could fit in there too! I keep my spirits up by eating chocolate and dreaming of October weather.
I really love break free candies. They are the best version of other candy bars. For example “Better than theirs” is true to its name!
Still cold several days after original shipment (delayed by mail carrier, not this company’s fault) very glad i added this to my order
